Peter Phillips, CLU, ChFC
Peter has been practicing financial services since 1970. Peter began specializing in pension planning and succession planning while at Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he began his career and later was appointed Managing Partner.
In 1979 he founded PLANS, Inc., a fee-based financial and pension planning firm. Peter became Managing Partner for New England Financial in 1990 and served in that position until 2002 when he retired from management to devote more time to his planning practice and to work with Mass Mutual as a Financial Planner.
Peter is a lifetime MDRT Member and has been ranked in the top 5% of U.S. agents. He was previously distinguished as the top pension producer of the year for New England’s national field force.
During Peter’s time away from the office, he enjoys sailing, golfing, and skiing. He resides in Charlotte with his wife and three children.
